We are excited to present this debut concert!

Golden Cut is a wonderful new project that was born out of the PEOPLE festival. It’s sound is a mixture of live looped orchestral sounds scapes, warm electronics and spectral beats. The group features producer Jeremy Black and 2 of our favorite contemporary string players Shelley Sörensen (viola) and Rachel Maio (cello). Golden Cut released their beautiful debut ep “haunted ghost” in august of last year.

This music has a magic quality to and Golden Cut will take us through a dream together in the Underlook. Local friends EERA, Koogan and special guest Trash Magnolia from New Orleans will be joining in the fun. Join us for their debut.

Berlin based Producer, Mixer and dearest musical collaborator Jeremy Black who has worked with the likes of Bon Iver, members of the National, Fil Bo Riva and Kerala Dust joins forces with renowned violist Shelley Sörensen (Lisa Hannigan, This is Kit, Sinfonieorchester Basel) and Cellist Rachel Maio (Tricky, Mick Harvey, JP Shilo). Both performers also play with Alva Noto and the Neo Classical supergroup Stargaze. Combining immersive live looping textures and drone like atmospheres with haunting melodies and live percussive element the group released a debut EP in August of last year.
